INTRODUCTION



This is the sleek, modernistic, high performance 4 seat French aircraft that was capable of cruising at 200 MPH / 190 Knots. Featuring an all metal airframe, the Trinidad TB21 GT Turbo's were fitted with 250HP Lycoming T-10 530's and fitted with constant speed Hartzell 3 bladed propellers.

This package features TWENTY TWO paint schemes, Three different cabin upholstery themes, and Three different versions of panel colors, from gray to tan to neon blue. This aircraft is fitted with Team Asobo's leading edge Avionics Stack, with GNS530, GNS430, Bendix King Autopilot and Transponder.

The graphics in this package are insanely high resolution, averaging 4K HD in PBR Format with bump mapping. This is NOT recommended for systems that can barely run Flight Simulator. This Aircraft package is for Microsoft MSFS 2020 Flight Simulator and also the Steam Edition of MSFS.

TWENTY TWO DIFFERENT EXTERIOR PAINT SCHEMES



The Trinidad TB21 GT is mapped with high resolution 4K textures that give it crisp line graphics. It can be hard on computers that are low in performance. This is an 'HD' package.




THREE VERSIONS OF INTERIOR THEMES



The Trinidad came with leather grain upholstery and plastics in the dash, center console and overhead console that were also leather grained. These are mapped with bump-mapping and PBR material tech for cool, realistic appearance. From standard gray to a nice bright tan color to a unique neon blue that was quite popular in Europe at the time.



THREE INSTRUMENT PANEL COLOR VERSIONS



The instrument panels are what really set the Trinidad apart from other planes. They had a very 'automotive' like appearance with the instruments in cool, rounded pods, similar to the Lotus Esprit, and the Avionics were housed in a cool tower structure between the two instruments pods. The center console added to the car-like experience. So sporty, including arm rests.

This aircraft was originally built in regular FS graphics tech, but for MSFS, it was completely reconverted to PBR Material Technology including bump mapping. Much attention to detail was carried out to make her as precise and realistic as possible.

AVIONICS





The Avionics Stack of the TB-21 GT is all by Team Asobo, makers of Microsoft Flight Simulator. This suite is state of the art technology, using HTML and Java code. It features things like bootup screens and in-depth page layers.


This Suite includes the AS530, AS430, the King Autopilot, and a nice Transponder. The Autopilot has a cool 'pre-flight' bootup procedure. It will show active (on) but will not be in control till systems are activated, such as HDG, NAV, APR, etc.



Notes on Instrumentation in this aircraft.

Illumination 'control' of the gauges themselves is presently not supported on the Trinidad. 2D XML gauges (all the round gauges or steam gauges which use XML tech coding) are not able to be turned off presently. We are hoping an update from Asobo will fix this soon.





SOUND SYSTEM



The Trinidad TB21 GT uses a brilliant, high resolution six cylinder Asobo soundpack. It amazingly captures sound effects of squeaks and wind noises and things brought about by various maneuvers, ground speed actions, etc.

UPDATES AND BUGS





TRANSPARENCY IS IMPORTANT. I WANT MY CUSTOMERS TO KNOW WHAT THEY ARE GETTING. I WILL BE THE FIRST TO TELL YOU ABOUT ISSUES WITH ONE OF MY PRODUCTS. SOMETIMES THERE ARE THINGS I FIND OUT ABOUT 'AFTER' A PRODUCT GOES TO MARKET. THIS IS INEVITABLE. BUGS. NOTHING IS PERFECT, BUT I SEEK TO HAVE THE BEST PLANES ON THE MARKET.
[BUILD 4.2 UDPATES AND MODS]
* Avionics lights (decals/fonts) now turn off with Battery and Avionics switches and also dim with panel light knob controller
* Cabin lights panel, blue glow, overhead spotlights, have been adjusted. Blue glow now starts off dark when booting into a flight at night.
* Warning lights now turn off with Battery switch
* Mouse Rect controller 'code templates' revised to new MSFS SU5 'Mouse Lock' system with glowing controls and mouse-hold-move control system.
* OAT instrument recalibrated
* Wing step pylons retract with landing gear
* New SU5 Fuel Selector coded
* Mesh enhancements to panel area
* Aircraft model split into 'interior and exterior' sections for higher performance via Asobo 'way'
* Flight Config file touched up, flaps performance modified
* Autopilot PID base code performance adjusted by 'Onimanius' for better beam capture and course management

[BUGS] :(
* Going from interior view to exterior view, then back into interior view mode causes the sim to turn off the lights in the aircraft. We do not know presently what has caused this anomaly, but are working on a fix for this.



The new MSFS interiors done up for MSFS were a bit too clean, which I wanted as the planes in MSFS by Team Asobo all look quite clean and new and well maintained. But mine looked a bit bland, so I added some nice minimal grunge and a little bit of scratches for that 'lived in' look.





THE NEW ASOBO MOUSE-LOCK SYSTEM IS NOW INTEGRATED INTO THE TRINIDAD MOUSE RECT SYSTEMS USING THEIR NEW TEMPLATE CODING. tHE ITEMS WILL TURN BLUE AND WHEN 'ADJUSTED' WILL TURN YELLOW.





Instruments have been rebuilt in 3D elements and are animated using Asobo code, the fastest and best for MSFS simulator. This should help to bring up frame rate performance.





REvamped 'Blue Glow' mode with a more fluid light dispersal across all area's of the panel zones.

The overhead domelights are now all spotlights and revamped and their light spread is now from far left to far right.





VH-BXE now features a far better 'wrap' in wear and grunge in her well weathered state. She could sure use some soap and water.. and wax, and more wax... and maybe paint. Lots of paint.





The neon blue French version interior option has been redone with a better match of the wild 1970's color that was first seen in the Lamborghini Miura.
